In Nairobi, Kenya, recent demonstrations have escalated into significant unrest, with anti-government protesters clashing violently with police. The protests, sparked by anger over a controversial finance bill, have led to tragic outcomes, including the deaths of at least 13 individuals, 12 of whom were in Nairobi. These events unfolded on June 25, 20241.

The Kenyan government has responded by imposing a ban on demonstrations in central Nairobi, citing concerns that criminal elements are infiltrating the protests. Despite these restrictions, the unrest persists, highlighting deep-rooted frustrations among the population over economic and political issues
